Tom Plunkett

When Mr. Plunkett joined the LDF panel in 2015 he brought over 20 years of criminal trial experience with him.  He has handled criminal trials in all of Minnesota’s 10 judicial districts and the Federal District Courts.  Minnesota Law enforcement agents have enjoyed the benefit of his calm personal demeanor and aggressive trial practices.  In 2018 Mr. Plunkett was a guest speaker at the MPPOA Annual Convention, recounting his trial victory on behalf of an Isanti City Police Officer. He has also contributed to the Minnesota Police Journal.  Since joining the panel he has assisted our members in critical incidents, criminal investigations and misdemeanor and felony charges.
